Global warming is just the way most people describe it, but it's also known as climate change. It means that storms can become stronger, which includes snowstorms, hurricanes, tornadoes, and rainstorms. Climates can become more harsh or completely change altogether.
Places like Texas and Arizona can get very cold at night and often get frost, and if the conditions are right can get snow. Global warming/climate change would only make it easier for these climates to get snow.
